Driving the Mom Crazy

Thursday I am hosting an event at the Tabby Cat Club, Driving My Parents Crazy!  If you are tired of doing the same things and need to mix it up a little, stop by for some inspiration.

I always enjoy the tears of frustration when I refuse to eat something I ate the day before.  Everyone in the store must think the mom is a madwoman, muttering as she looks at one food, then another, trying to out guess me.  Guess what!  She hasn't yet!

Sorry, mom, better luck next time!  What a shame, you even had them shipped in.
** Sigh **
Still no go, but the box is cool!
At least you tried again, and didn't give up.

I try to help her when she's on the computer, but she complains nonstop!

You would think she'd be happy when I dust the keyboard, since she never does it.
She tucked my tail under the laptop,
so she could "get some work done".

Body parts seem to be a problem for her too!

Speaking of problems, lack of sleep appears to be a big one!  The night time rules are endless!  No picking your toes in bed, no bomitting in bed, no loud licking at night, it goes on and on . . .

Sorry, I have no idea who could have woken you again scratching boxes.  My paws never moved!   Honest.
Playing with strings in the dark,

and even staring are problematical.

I just try to keep the mom busy doing things she likes to do, like using the scary sucky monster.
And mollify her when I can by trying to look cute.

Do you think it worked?

Oh, it totally worked, Oui Oui!

What do you mean no loud licking in bed? And no staring? What kind of rules are these? Pierre loves to stare at the head peep from only inches away, a habit that was named the "extreme kitten close-up" when he was just a little guy. Why would the peeps object to things like that?

LOL yep, it worked. You sure keep her on her toes and the cat is there with the eating thing, actually both of us, such a pain indeed

MOL! The lady can relate although she longs for the days when I just stared in the early morning instead of meowing my insistence that she get up and feed me. I'm picky about food too, but you give me lots more ideas on how to drive her even crazier. You've got it down, Oui Oui. My, but your mom has a lot of rules. What fun to break them!

Yes, I think it worked. Love those last shots of you!

Oui Oui, we kitties TOTALLY get out of anything because of our high cuteness factor! Even Binga, who raises misbehavior to a fine art!

Our #1 has gotten quite sneaky with Da Beebs who wins our fussy eater medal. She now expects him to change his mind about foods so she keeps rotating. Although even that doesn't always work...

Ling did the nail plucking last night and woke Mommy up. Haha.
We aren't as lucky as you when it comes to food. If we don't eat the food Mommy gives us, then we go hungry. Something about not training us to be picky...

GREAT job, Oui Oui! You made the Mom crazy for sure! You have to keep the humans on their toes, right? :)

Well of course it works! If it didn't we'd all get dumped somewhere out in the middle of nowhere and have to find our OWN dinner ::shudder::

It works every time :) Just give the "cute" look and the humans turn to mush and forget all about that other stuff! :)

Oui Oui, you are one of the cutest and most comical cats we know. If that works on your mom, concatulations. Some of the things you mentioned really get under our mom's skin, especially the night bathing when we are snuggled up next to her in bed. Some of us have been unceremoniously removed when we didn't obey her cease and desist order! Humans…can't live with them, can't live without them if we want our noms and treats.
