FRIDAY'S FORMERLY FERAL FELINE FANTASTIC FLASH: FINALLY!

Mistress Mica Minnie Moo muses mom's markedly mysterious mercurial, melodramatic mania.

MMM musing on Julie's favorite pillow.

So, what is all the fuss about?  Finally, after almost 2 years, the mom was able to bend down AND PET MMM!  Just like that!  Just like a real cat!  And she didn't shy or run away!  True, she was inhaling eating her breakfast, but it actually happened.  Next time, the mom is going to try it during an undistracted moment and see what happens.

MMM, in a possibly rash, and certainly unguarded moment walked directly up to her food instead of threading her way under furniture to get to it, passing within inches of the mom.  That's when the opportunistic mom grabbed her chance!

While we are celebrating this momentous occasion, we hope everyone enjoys their weekend.  Have fun, stay safe and maybe even crack some crabs!

Awwww I'm so happy for you! I know how every little breakthrough is huge when it's happening to you! I hope this is the start of great things, like non-food related pets and maybe someday, lapsitting! Hugs and purrs all around!

OMC! The Human totally understands what a momentous occasion this is, as I was the most-feral feral kitten in all this world. Conga-rats to all concerned. I will nefur be a lapcat, but pettings are pretty good, MMM. You'll see.

This is definitely a HUGE moment for your Mom! We hope it wasn't because of some full moon or something. ;)
Have a great weekend!

That is GREAT news! Boodie has always been a bit fearful - well, when she first came to live with my human, I gather she was a LOT fearful! It takes time, but these kitties do come around.
